II having been playing Bass since I was around 18 years old. I love music and to me playing music is another creative outlet for me to express myself. I have been fortunate to play in several bands in the Austin area and have had some moderate success with some of them. I continue to play most Sundays at Fellowship Church. My new rock band Sons of Suns is a classic rock band with a hard edge groove. Check the bottom of this page for more info.

Here is a history of my musical endeavors so far...

Last Chance was my first live performing band that played rock covers like Santana, Pink Floyd, Black Crowes, Led Zeppelin, and Rolling Stones, etc. We got our break by playing at the original Steamboat on 6th street thanks to Danny Crooks! In the time we were together I managed to write a couple of originals that got recorded.

Last Chance turned into the original rock band, Voodoo Caravan. We played many Austin shows on 6th street, Red Eyed Fly, opened up for The Toadies once, played at The Austin Bob Marley Festival, had a showcase for SXSW and played a big gig at the Sam Houston Horse Track in Houston Texas. We got interest from a Houston record label and they helped promote our first studio album entitled Voodoo Caravan. Here are some tracks from our studio album...

Ocho Diablo was a short lived band but one of my favorite bands to play in. We were a reagge / soul band. We were only together for 10 months but in that time we had a regular night at the New Steamboat on Riverside, while it lasted, and opened up for such bands as Los Lonely Boys, and Del Castillo. Unfortunately we never got to record a decent album in the studio so the only music I have from this band are live recordings.
